You would never have guessed that Sophie Choudry has her uses. Ever since Salman Khan started his charity, a lot of industry fellows have come forward to show their support in ways best possible.
The recent addition in this ‘friends’ list was Sophie. There was a charity dinner that was organised by the foundation in Dubai where Sophie was to perform. While she sang quite a few songs from her latest album Sound of Sophie, she also had a special surprise for the organisers as well as the audience.
She wrote a new song overnight called Jiyo Iss Taraha that was inspired by the cause and completely dedicated to it. It is a song that talks about being good to people regardless of caste, colour and creed. Helping her put this together was composer Bappa Lahiri. “I adore Salman, Sohail, Arbaaz and the entire family. The only gift I thought I could give them was a part of my talent. So, I penned this song and presented it,” says Sophie.
