R Madhavan recently released a book for a long standing friend N Sampat Kumar.
Maddy, who is still high on the success of 3 Idiots, said he had immense respect for his director Rajkumar Hirani because adapting a book into a film is very difficult.
Madhavan said he loves the popularity he enjoys both, in the South and the North. “I love the idea of being identified as ‘Maddy Paaji’ after the success of Three Idiots and Teen Patti.
Down South, I am referred to as ‘Maddy Thambi’,” he said. The Tamil heartthrob is now heading to Monte Carlo for a Tamil fim with Kamal Haasan and Trisha. And he revels in the mayhem that’s there in his life courtesy his Hindi and Tamil films that take him across the globe.
